75: Stop making goals based on the person you want to be, not the person you are
January 08, 2021 18:24 - 22 minutes - 42.5 MBWe've all heard that you should dress for the job you want, not the job you have and that adopting the mentality of the type of person you want to be can help you achieve that goal faster, and that is true. Today I want to talk a bit about perspective, and how some self-help gurus are telling people that if they shift their mindset and perspective about the pandemic it will help them get through it more easily, and I disagree. Square Breathing
April 24, 2020 11:00 - 6 minutes - 12.5 MBIn today's episode, we are going to focus on a simple breathing exercise - square breathing. You may know it by a different name, it's basically the process of breathing in, pausing, exhaling, and pausing. It helps to slow and deepen your breath. Some people may find after a couple of rounds of square breathing that they need to stop and breathe normally for a few breaths, so that's what we do in the episode - enjoy!
52: Meditation for Forgiveness

51: Yoga Nidra
April 10, 2020 11:00 - 11 minutes - 20.7 MBYoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is another amazing type of meditation. Similar to the body scan we did a few weeks ago, this type of meditation allows you to focus your attention inwardly as you fall into the "in-between" state between awake and asleep. Studies have shown that a short Yoga Nidra practice is as restful on the body as an extra couple hours of sleep, making it a wonderful practice those days when you are feeling groggy but don't have time for a long nap or rest.
Grounding Meditation
April 03, 2020 11:00In today's episode, I'm sharing a short grounding meditation which is great to use on days where you feel like you can't concentrate like your mind just flips from one thing to the next or like your "head is up in the clouds".

March 06, 2020 12:00 - 2 KBBeating yourself up because you can't be the perfect mother and the perfect wife, and get all your workouts in, and keep the house clean, and do well at your job, and have perfect nutrition all at the same time? 45: Don't put all your happiness "eggs" in one basket
February 14, 2020 12:00 - 15 minutes - 29.6 MBYesterday both my websites and email were down for the entire day. I think all in all I was down for around 40 hours. It was completely out of my control, web servers that went down and I had no choice but to wait around for the restoration. This was a bit of a drag, but because I don't operate all of my business from those two sites, it really only hindered a small part of my business. But it really got me thinking about those who depend solely on their website for their revenue. Understanda...
