I love learning about people, I find a good way to learn about people is to ask questions. When someone answers a question you ask you can gain a lot more information than just he answer. The words used and the tone of voice, the body language, pay attention to everything if you really want to learn about the person you are speaking with.

Today whilst working with a group we got talking about body language, I was explaining that to work out body language you need to talk in the full scene not just one aspect of what is going on,(someone folding their arms for example) The same can be said for when you are focusing on a goal, if you only focus on one area you may get better there but you could miss out on a lot of opportunities to improve the over all goal.

When you hide from negative emotions you end up training yourself to hide from positive ones as well. Not understanding how you feel and why you feel that way is not a good thing. If the focus is moved to what you need rather than what you want, you will find yourself in a much better postion to achieve what you actually want.
