ReMIND U Podcast is a weekly conversation to help us remember to keep mental health in our discussions (MIND.) Each week, Dr. Kristie Norwood (affectionately known as “Dr. Kristie”) will discuss relevant topics such as relationship patterns, personal growth, trauma, mindfulness, self-reflection, and moving towards your values! Many of the topics will focus on how specific issues affect communities of color. Geared towards those of us who lead fast paced lives, Dr. Kristie incorporates brief “Mindful Moments” where you can gain information in short episodes, or sessions as she calls them. At least once per month, there will be a longer session which will allow us to connect even further about a topic. Listeners will gain insight into how to dialogue about mental health topics while also finding ways to prevent themselves and others who may be suffering in silence. Through ReMIND U, we are building a community of listeners that can help decrease the stigmas surrounding seeking mental health care. So, come on in…and join the discussion!
