As a 16-year-old able bodied AAA hockey player Tyler Mcgregor was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, spindle cell sarcoma. As a result, in January 2010 McGregor underwent eight months of chemotherapy and the amputation of his left leg.
over the next few years His drive, determination, and heart pushed him into becoming a member of the Team Canada sledge hockey team; in which now he is the captain.
Tyler comes on to the Mind Sweep podcast to share his powerful story and how he turned such a tragedy into not only becoming a Team Canada Athlete, but also a motivator, and vital person in growing the game of sledge hockey.
