In this episode, let go of all the things we think self care should be: like a two hour massage, a month long vacation, etc.  Those are nice, but not always within reach.  In this episode, special guest Emily breaks self care down for us and reminds us why we do self care on the regular.  It is about the little pauses in-between the chaos that make a GREAT impact on our mental load.  She talks about her book which is centered around living life for ourselves rather than the expectations of our mothers.  She chats about life working as a Registered Nurse and the stress associated with the job.  She also speaks to her role as a coach for nurses and gives us some of the amazing tips and tools she teaches them.  Most importantly, she teaches us How to reframe self care into "taking care of yourself" as a form of self-responsibility.  In the sweetest way possible, she reminds us how IMPORTANT it is to care for #1.

Self Love Tip:
When ever you feel overwhelmed or anxious, take 1 to 3 deep breaths, look into your heart and remind yourself “I know you have the answers somewhere in there.  I’m getting overwhelmed, I’m anxious.  This is a feeling trying to tell me something.” And let it come to you from your heart through the silence.  Take the deep breaths.
