Forgiveness is a process that begins with a personal decision to overcome emotional pain when you are ready to do so.  According to the worksheet on therapistaid.com, there are four phases of forgiveness. In this episode, the second phase is discussed which is decision. This mean you should get a deeper understanding of what forgiveness is before actually making a decision to forgive or not forgive. It is totally up to you. You have the power to decide to heal or not heal your emotional pain. The choice is yours. Healing begins with talking, not suffering in silence. Remember, forgiveness is for you, not for the one who hurt you.
