Forgiveness is a process that begins with a personal decision to overcome emotional pain when you are ready to do so.  According to the worksheet on therapistaid.com, there are four phases of forgiveness. In this episode, the third phase of forgiveness is work. This means you will get a deeper understanding of the offender and see them differently than just the person who hurt you.
