My Dad is 75 and now that he has wrapped his head around the fact his daughter has tried weed and he can no longer ground me, he’s actually curious about the whole thing. Like me, he had the usual experience – got too high, ate the entire contents of the fridge and then got paranoid. It didn’t leave a great taste in his mouth – literally and figuratively. But I’d love to see him (and my Mom) reap the benefits of cannabis but without compromising their health. They are open to trying it but due to a health condition, they should not be taking any chances with vaping. It could complicate a current chest and lung condition.
Between fear of taking too much and getting too high and the dislike for vaping or smoking, many are seeking another delivery option to enjoy cannabis. Naturally the market has exploded with options and edibles are most recently to the rescue! But even edibles aren’t for everyone and we can’t always predict the dosage. While you can take CBD or lemon terpenes to help reduce the effect, once you’re on that train you’re going for the full ride!
