Meaghan Davis is a Human, Leader, Activist, Educator, and Founder of The BRAVE Institute. BRAVE’s mission is to inspire and challenge humans to be brave and self-empowered contributors to a better world.

On this episode, we dive deep into the power of our use of words and the courage behind an action, such as the difference between a kind action and a kind person. You’ll learn some of her “Meaghanisms” a term that her students fondly coined to describe the intentionality of the words Meaghan uses. My favorite; human. Meaghan is intentional about making sure to use the word human in describing everyone she encounters because it addresses and connects ALL people. She believes the use of the word human is the most powerful way to bring the mission of inclusion to life and has helped her become a better person.

Meaghan shares how she uses her superpowers and walks the walk of a brave life. She gives concrete steps on how she established her organization, BRAVE Girls Leadership as a 501c3 (nonprofit) and why and how she transformed it into the Limited Liability Company, The BRAVE Institute. We discuss how she navigates through her challenge of feeling a false sense of urgency. Meaghan is learning to be intentional about “not mistaking uncertainty for an absence of clarity.” She is making the choice to live a BRAVE life.
