Welcome everyone to part one of my season finale episode, I'm Not My Skin. This episode is based on the topic of colorism. I chose this topic for my season finale episode because this is a touchy subject among African Americans. Colorism may not be a topic that is a threat to society, but it is a threat to our community. The relentless comparison whether you are beautiful because of your skin color is a threat to our mental health. It's time for us to unite instead of dividing. The artist that I'm going to feature for part one and part two is Deejay Young. His song perfectly fits the theme of this episode. He is available on all music streaming platforms, please go support. Hope you guys enjoy this episode and see you guys in a few months.
