Picture yourself sitting in the rainforest basin. In the distance a waterfall cascades into a pool. Birds sing. Cicadas hum. Relax and close your eyes. Let the sounds of the forest pull away your anxiety. Focus on the soothing sound of nature. Your heart rate slows. Everything is calm and serene.


Why I made this soundscape:


A picture of Springbrook came up as my desktop background. I was like I want to be there today. So, I watched a couple videos of the waterfall on YouTube, but all the videos had cheesey music playing. So, I sat back, closed my eyes, and tried to picture what it might sound like in an Australian rainforest. This is what I came up with.
