In this episode Kerri discusses how body image, beliefs and cultural pressure to perform influence our ability to have a healthy relationship with our bodies and ourselves. As athletes, we work so hard to keep our bodies in peak performance shape and often have many eyes on us and our bodies while competing in our sport. Our perception of our bodies is often based on hard wired belief systems that we have from coaches, social media, parents and peers. So frequently athletes get caught up in comparing our bodies to our teammates and letting external factors influence our relationship to our bodies and to ourselves. We associate so much of our identity with our athletic performance and how we feel we should look and perform. In this solo episode, Kerri opens up about her own experience with her body image and how pressure to perform and look a certain way contributed to disordered eating, low self-worth and an unhealthy relationship to her body.

If you are an athlete or high performer who has struggled with body image, confidence, self-worth, and pressure to look and perform in a certain way then this episode is for you. Kerri discusses actionable tips you can utilize to help you deconstruct your belief systems and transform your relationship to your body and yourself.
