As a parent, when you think about the word “divorce,” many feelings might come to your mind, but what about your children’s feelings? How can you help them deal with their very real feelings about your divorce?

Listen to our latest episode with another mother and daughter team, Karen Kaye, LMHC and Hara Wachholder, LMHC. This dynamic mother/daughter duo are co-author's of a brand new book:

My Parents Are Getting A Divorce... I Wonder What Will Happen To Me: An Interactive Discussion Book for Children ages 4-12

Listen in on our interview to get an understanding of how parents, counselors and other professionals can use this workbook as a tool for more useful and effective communication with children of divorce.

We share practical tips and tools for parents (and kids) around transitioning between both homes, how to better help them adapt to all of the changes, about how to approach the topics around divorce and giving your child an opportunity to share how they are feeling, as well as, helping you the parent understand that kids put a lot of pressure on themselves and often feel that the divorce is their fault.

See if you relate as they share the experiences that Tara and Karen have gone through as parents of divorce and raising children and the experiences that Anna and Hara have gone through as children of divorce.
