If you don’t already know, this week is kicking off a special week here on the podcast where I have a different member of my team join me to talk about their expertise! Today we had Chloe, our Social Media Content and Marketing Coordinator come on so that we could talk all about our marketing strategy and the strategy that we use for our clients. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Chloe worked for a law firm before coming to join the OMG Team.

Although she didn’t go to school for marketing, it was always interesting to her and she jumped at the chance to be able to work in the marketing field. She’s been with the OMG team for almost a full year and has learned a lot along the way. Chloe shared with us the trends that she’s been seeing in the social media world and some tips around how you can get the most out of each platform. Social media is constantly changing and it can be hard to keep up with the algorithm so that you can make sure you’re getting 100% out of your marketing. Even in the past few months, there have been major changes to Instagram that could be affecting your reach.

When it comes to your Instagram marketing game, it’s important to make sure that you’re doing interaction each and every day. This means going into the account to like, comment, and share content with your audience. We also talked about the importance of incorporating Instagram stories into your marketing techniques to get a larger reach. On top of Instagram, we also covered Facebook, Pinterest, and Youtube so that you can make sure you’re up to date on everything social media.
