68: Parker A. - first call

🔸 With an IFS therapist for months, but no exile unburdening… we talk to the part that is angry at his therapist. Most callers don’t have a baseline of work with other IFS practitioners to compare. I'm excited to get feedback!



🔹 Part (Location, Fear, Rather be doing, Age, Needs):

- angry at therapist, distrustful of women - tightness in the jaw, a scowl, eyes rolled back - afraid of being judged, unwelcome in a tribe or relationship - rather be using its strength as confidence - thinks he is 13 - needs him to heal that exile!



🎓 What I'd like to do differently:

When he said he didn’t like x,y,z phrases and approaches from practitioner, part of me thought I was doomed. Do I throw mine out? Modify? Lean in and find out why? How can I be authentic? I decided to just trust that I would navigate it, keep it in mind. How'd I do?
