Are you aligning your goals with your values and passions? Today I'm chatting with Natalie, a functional nutritionist. She shares how setting goals that we don't truly care about can actually damage our self-trust and hinder our ability to listen to our bodies.
When we focus on meaningful and enjoyable pursuits we can boost our confidence and that spills over into other areas of our lives, enabling us to tackle new challenges with resilience and self-assurance.

We also dive into the significance of rest for maintaining a healthy and balanced life. Rest is essential for the body to feel safe and maintain homeostasis. So many of us fall into the societal pressure to constantly hustle and grind and that can make it difficult to prioritize rest, but we need to look at rest as productive and necessary.

Starting something new can be scary so it's important to have self-compassion while you're navigating this discomfort. Natalie reminds us that changing habits, behaviors, thoughts, and beliefs may require discomfort, but that self-compassion can help us navigate this discomfort and start something new with confidence!
