Jordan Syatt and I discuss a whole host of health-related topics. There's also some fun talk about Harry Potter, wizards, and unicorns!

Jordan Syatt is a personal trainer, retired world-record powerlifter, and jiu-jitsu newb. He’s also a wizard (not really, but I hear he has a thing for Dumbledore). He is a proponent of functional but strategic dieting and has made a name for himself in the industry, not only as the personal trainer of Gary Vaynerchuk, but as a hard-working, honest, and caring coach who is always there to support and inspire his clients. It was an honor to get to speak with Jordan as he has played a big role in shaping my thoughts on health and fitness as of late; he even managed to shift my mindset a bit during this episode, so look forward to that! You can check out his podcasts (yes, multiple podcasts) and find him on all of the socials:

A correction I would like to make is that Jarome Iginla’s finger (not thumb) almost got chopped off. So search “Jarome Iginla finger” if you are interested in seeing the grotesqueness.

Also, while the goalie Clint Malarchuk did survive his neck being cut open by a skate, he did go on to struggle with suicidal thoughts and two more near death experiences. I encourage you to read about it here: https://bit.ly/3ijq4TJ
