Do you know how to successfully answer the age-old question: Am I hungry?

I know it sounds so basic.

But if you don’t know the difference between body hunger and head hunger, odds are good that you may sometimes eat for the wrong reason.


You let your inner mean girl come out and you put yourself down for not being perfect. You slipped.


If you eat from body hunger most of the time, I’m guessing that you are a pretty natural eater, and extra weight is not a problem for you.


You instinctively know when to start eating, and when to stop eating.


But some of us are not good at deciphering signals that we get from our mind, and I am calling that head hunger.


You feel something that you have linked to eating. It might be a good feeling or an uncomfortable feeling.

And your habit is to think: oh, I need something to eat.

Just a little something to eat. And you reinforce the habit of eating before your body actually needs it.


Today’s coaching session is a short and sweet reminder of how to answer, ‘Am I hungry’ and to understand the difference between body hunger and head hunger.


This lesson will start you on the path to knowing when to start eating, and when to stop. And once you know that, you are on your way to freedom from the struggle.
