Today's Super Healthy Minute is about sleep. Sleep is so important for our health because it resets the daily rhythms in our body and brain. It is one of the key components that I talk to patients about in my clinic when they're healing from Neck and Back Pain. In fact, I included chapters on sleep in both my books that were published on Amazon called “Neck Pain” and “Back Pain” <see links below>. Sleep is like a bank account and if you get too little sleep you need to do a deposit to get more sleep soon and balance your account. Sleep allows your body to repair, rejuvenate, and heal. I like to use the Autosleep app on my Apple watch the Sleep Cycle app on my iPhone to help me track my sleep.
