How do you know you’re cultivating wisdom? In this episode of Shut Up and Sit, Yedda welcomes Leah Coleman, President of Boss Babes RVA, to shut up and sit down with her to talk about the power of belief systems and perspectives. Leah shares her favorite form of mindfulness and then together, they speak on the importance of bringing the divine feminine into leadership and business and using mindfulness to work through the many challenges of the covid-19 pandemic.

“If we want to cultivate beliefs of love, compassion, inclusivity, diversity, equity, justice… equanimity… how do we cultivate those belief systems? We’ve got to start investigating in what we believe and then investing in creating new belief systems.” - Yedda

Leah is currently doing the Shut Up and Sit course with a group of diverse women in Richmond, so she has great insights to share with you on bold growth and development and how this mindfulness work makes a huge impact on women and on the world as a whole. Shedding light on her wisdom through powerful reflection, Leah shares her favorite parts of the work and what lessons have been the most helpful for her journey thus far.

“If feel like this course work is helping me get regrounded into what my knowing, that I always knew, and my foundation was, but it’s also helping to reconnect me to myself, to God, to that place of contemplation.” - Leah
