October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and for this week's episode I am joined by 8-year breast cancer survivor, Darnell Fulford. Darnell openly and honestly walks us through her journey from diagnosis, to treatment, to recovery, to now. She shares her initial instincts upon diagnosis, the dynamics of her support system, and her passion for having open and honest conversations about her journey. Our conversation is full of laughs, full of insights, full of truths and highlights a remarkable story of hope and courage.

Guest’s Bio:
I am an 8-year breast cancer survivor, I was diagnosed in Oct 2012, after a routine mammogram that led to further testing. My treatment included a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, on Aug 20th, 2013, I was declared cancer free. My story is one of hope and courage. Early detection saved my life, yearly breast cancer screening should be a regular part of your life.
