Stop being sales-y (and still sell more)

1.Stop being the person who ONLY writes an email, posts on social, or sends a PM when you are selling something.

2.Give value (I went deeply into this on The “S” Word LIVE show today) The fact is, you know more about the particular thing you work through with your clients than your audience does right now. Even though it IS IMPORTANT that your students learn the breadth and depth of the solution eventually, for TODAY, in your email and on your social posts you are granted permission to give a summary (*that’s all your audience has the bandwidth for most of the time anyway).

3.Invite. Yes, as time goes on, it is IMPERATIVE to invite your audience (whether there are 50 or 50,000 of them) to hear about how you work with your clients. That could look like an introduction post, a flash sale or a private message to hear about something you haven’t released to the public yet and they will be the first to check it out.

Here is the BEST news yet: You can take the pressure off because not everyone is going to become a client. BOOM - there I said it.

Renee Hribar has been a sales professional since 1994 in New York. She has sold millions of dollars in products and services and trained thousands to sell for the first time. She is known in her industry as a fun, energetic executive sales coach who leads with heart. A TEDx speaker who offers training sessions at global conferences, boardrooms and most recently through virtual programs, she skillfully breaks down her decades of sales expertise with a flair that makes listening to her joy and if you take action, extremely profitable. With her one-of-a-kind "laugh & learn" teaching style, you will certainly walk away with a new view on the "softer side of sales".

Does that make you feel better?

There are people in your audience right now who love you, but will never ever buy anything from you.

This does NOT mean you kick them out of your group, off your email list or out of your life. NO!!!

Each and every person you connect with is one of the 3 C’s (if we’ve been hanging out for any length of time you have heard me say this before).

They are either a Connector, Collaborator, or Client and OFTEN someone WILL become all 3 over the course of your relationship (but that is only if you are creating new offers and continuing to invest in your own personal and professional development).

Let me know, what questions does this bring up for you?

So do you feel less awkward about sending an email, posting, and sending personal messages?
