Picture yourself sitting in a bamboo hut. Outside the forest is misty. Rain falls through the trees and slides down the leaves. Cicadas call to you in an overbearing hum. Relax and close your eyes. Let the sounds of the gentle rain pull away your anxiety. Focus on the soothing sound of nature. Your heart rate slows. Everything is calm and serene.


Why I made this podcast:


This one is similar to the Varanasi soundscape, which I’m still unsure if I like or not. When I listen to it I find myself constantly reevaluating. Right when I find the hum of the cicadas overbearing it changes for me and becomes soothing.
