"We go to great lengths to deny death in our culture"

In this episode, we're joined by Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, end of life planner and death doula, Rachel Green, where we talk about relationship with death.

Death is inevitable. During our lifetime, we will experience the loss of loved ones, and we, ourselves will also die - this we all have in common.

In Western culture, do we prepare for death in a way that really honours both the survivors and the deceased? Do we allow ourselves to open the discussion up and talk about how we want to experience our own death as it approaches? How do we talk to our loved ones about death and the inevitable loss and grief that will land in our hearts once they're gone?

This episode should give you a lot to ponder in a way that is so loving, gentle, and possibly even uplifting about a relationship that can bring much pain. Our conversation with Rachelle was very eye-opening; there's so much to discuss, so rather than you reading about it here, we'd rather you take a breath, tuck yourself in, and hit play.

And please know, that we are sitting with you as you navigate this relationship - you are not alone.

With much love,

Vicki and Arianne 💖
