In this episode, I am joined by Jaclyn Bendt, CPT, a non-diet Registered Dietitian to be and a certified personal trainer studying medical dietetics at The Ohio State University. After struggling with an eating disorder herself, Jaclyn is passionate about using what she has learned in recovery to help others find freedom with food, peace with their bodies, and how to pursue enjoyable movement without obsession. Along with her schooling and coaching, Jaclyn is also the host of the “Bits of Balance” podcast.

Join us for a conversation about navigating potential triggers when entering the eating disorder field as a newly recovered person, how genetic factors predispose one to engage in eating disorder behaviors, approaching disordered thoughts with curiosity (as opposed to judgement), aligning thoughts and actions with values, vulnerability, finding healthy motivation for movement in recovery, making room for joyful movement, and much more!
