Previous Episode: Cardio 101

We take a side step from our usual health chat to discuss how customer service we have received and business systems we have been helped or hindered by has influenced our professional practice.

In an era when business loyalty is at an all time low, we explore what has worked for us as customers and what we would avoid doing at all costs!!!

In this episode we change the names to protect the guilty and shine a light on the good ones.

We discuss the excellent examples we have seen of great craftmanship in work combined with honesty and integrity.
We've modelled our businesses around being like this and having our clients be delighted with the results for years.

Sadly it has not all been like that, and we also talk about the negative experiences we have seen.

Byron recounts stories of terrible rewards as a member of executive clubs with a certain airline.
There are stories of businesses that have staff that cannot listen and horror stories of out of date tech that slowed entire operations down to a grinding halt.

We explore the benefits of being a small operation with autonomy and a clear direction.
How we like to communicate fast and decisively as well as reward our best clients instead of punish them!

We talk about Mike Matthews of Team Legion and Byron details how he learned to create a product the he himself always wanted in fitness and health as well as then over deliver on service.

At Profound Fitness we've steered away from the corporate model of charging as much as you can and giving as little as possible (nickle n' diming the customer), and embraced charging a fair price for our services and caring about the work we do and people we serve.
