Previous Episode: The Gift Of Injury
Next Episode: Back Pain 101

Recorded during late April of 2020 Mike & Byron discuss the changes they have had to make to maintain their strength and health as well as how they have coached during this time of crisis and guidance they have been giving clients.

We chat about why certain habit changes such as socialising are so very hard to make workable in the long term and methods for making them work now, even when we momentarily forget.

We go onto to talk about the role that exercise and strength plays in health and the immune system, and how the Profound Fitness approach favours economy over excess when it comes to equipment and facilities.

This approach has in turn benefitted out clients as they have found themselves with a very short shopping list of good equipment to purchase when it comes to onwards training, done remotely.

We talk about repurposing the home to become a multiple use family space as well as work environment.
Also, when it's time to give yourself a break and how to not fall into the over work trap!
Setting rules, boundaries and limitations.

Setting up new good habits to maintain productivity and supporting a sense of ongoing control and accomplishment.

We mention fixes we have applied to manage workflow and how we both structure our days.

We discuss our future expectations for gym goers and gyms and how things might be different post - lockdown.
