Loneliness is affecting our health. This is an emotional state of being, yet, our mind lives in our bodies. Scientists have linked how loneliness is a form of stress, which when chronic, negatively affects our physical health in various ways. Loneliness can be a product from certain environments and cultural norms, like the thin body ideal, masculinity, corporate culture, and others. There are ways to come out of loneliness, we can change our environments to be less isolating.
