Meet Nicole, our next guest in the pregnancy complications portion of our birth stories series. If you’re still reeling from Pinky’s episode, we have news - THERE’S MORE!  Nicole had a relatively “easy” pregnancy.  She had a birth plan in place and felt as prepared for labour as one could be…until she wasn’t.  After educating herself by taking part in birthing classes, she felt like she had the knowledge to make quick decisions during her labour and delivery.  We cover topics like: stretch and sweeps, meconium, forceps, having a baby in the NICU, lactation consultants, lip & tongue ties and dilation and curettage (D&C procedure).  Nicole provided us with so much information in this episode that we hope can help you or a loved one.  Let us know what you think!!
