Like any new habit, Learning how to meditate comes with its own obstacles. For the beginner, loving meditation, may seem tough!

Although, years ago on retreat, I learned from a Buddhist monk these three ways that our egos pull us out of meditation time and time again. It’s time to learn how to get past them and meditate anyway!

These hindrances have been the most helpful way to explain to my clients exactly what is going on in their mind when they want to just give up, walk away from their cushion and go on with their day.

It’s time to win those private battles in your head and realize that when you don’t meditate YOU don’t win, your ego does! Stop letting your ego trick you and get on the cushion so you can get to loving this practice!
