We're getting started on a big project this week. We are building an indoor aquaponics system to raise our own organic fish and vegetables. In this first installment, we discuss what aquaponics is, and some of the pros and cons of different systems. We talk about the design for our specific system, and we start getting all of the hardware and supplies together to make it happen. In future episodes, we will build the system, stock/plant the system (with fish and vegetables), and hopefully have a successful harvest.
