Which way do you avoid your emotions? Do you eat, drink, smoke, over exercise, watch tv, shop etc..?  You might think that you are running from your feelings by ignoring them and pushing them down, but those feelings will haunt you and wreak havoc in your life if you do not feel them and heal them. We have been so conditioned from our own upbringings to not talk about and feel our feelings so it is not our fault that we numb our pain. We were taught to do this. Now it is time to wake up and heal that pain from the past as well as feel and deal with emotions that come up in the present. When you can learn to do this for yourself, you will set yourself free and move toward more authenticity.
