In this episode Kim and Tia continue the conversation from the previous episode and discuss practical tools that one can use when you are aware that you are numbing your feelings. If you are unaware of what you even feel that is perfectly fine because you can begin to notice in your body where you feel the emotion. Just begin to be aware and then sit with the feelings even for ninety seconds because often that is the amount of time that it takes for a feeling to move through. The issue is that we often don’t sit with our emotions and we go right to the numbing. As we begin to pause and put space between our thoughts/feelings and who we are, the more we feel empowered to handle our emotions.
