In this episode Kim and Tia talk about how the masks that we wear were created and why we continue to wear them. We don’t come into this world feeling unworthy, unloveable or fearful. We come into this world pure and shining our light. Anytime you look at babies or toddlers, they are so comfortable in their skin and they do not care what others think of them. Because of our upbringing and cultural conditioning, the Ego creates masks or armour to protect the inner child. Fear of being our true selves is the underlying reason that we develop these masks. Most of us aren’t even aware that we wear masks or that we are afraid to be our true selves. We invite you to take a look and ask yourself: “What masks are you wearing?”

"The Ego and the Self - The fight is between the two. The Self wishes to create, to evolve. The Ego likes things just the way they are…The Ego’s job is to take care of business in the real world. It’s an important job. We couldn’t last a day without it. But there are worlds other than the real world, and this is where the Ego runs into trouble.” - Steven Pressfield “The War of Art”
