It’s no great revelation that we as mothers wear many, many hats. We may be career women, but we’re also often the CEO of the household, the executive chef, the resident therapist, the director of family activities… It can be a lot! Striking work-life balance is something that many of us spend decades searching for, but we spend so much time looking that it’s hard to see the forest for the trees. The truth is, as mamas, we deserve to be nurtured, too.

Today, I welcome entrepreneur, executive, producer, media personality, and fabulous mama of two Nicole Friday. Nicole is also an accomplished culinary influencer and the president and general manager of ABFF Ventures, LLC, the entertainment company behind the American Black Film Festival.

Tune in and listen to episode thirty five of Mamaste with Tanika Ray. Nicole and I talk about our experiences mommying through the pandy and how it strengthened our familial connections. We also cover why it’s so important that mamas take care of themselves, prioritizing “me” time, and why home should be a mama’s favorite place.

In This Episode, You Will Learn:
