In this episode, Cheryl and Josh discuss:

Changing the mindset behind your approach  Playing the long game  Setting the standard for ourselves  Building trust and credibility

Key Takeaways:

You must change the mindset behind your approach with providing your product to clients. Show that you are passionate about your product and that you have en expert-degree knowledge of it. Sell it like your life depended on it.  Play the long game of sales. Genuinely care about their interest and what’s best for them. Provide value that will show people that they should look at us differently and that we’re here to serve their needs today, tomorrow, and always.  The respect of your clients is something that you’re going to have to earn. We must set the standards for ourselves as an individual and live a life that’s fully integrated with our purpose.  Do every single one of your clients refer you when somebody they know is looking for business? You’ve got to strive to make it to a point where you are who your clients think of when they say “I know a guy”. That’s when you know you’ve really built trust and credibility.

“If you take the work that you do seriously, and you really want to give the customer a product that they don't feel like they can replicate with another agent. It requires you to actually know what you're talking about.”  —  Josh Cadillac
