Mel shares her living experience of trauma, that they are not Panic Attacks, but Blind Terror Attacks where dysregulation causes Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn, or Friend responses. Often bouncing between these responses on the same day.

Mel Riley is a lively Psychotherapist who works with children, adults and families. She has a passion for helping clients to heal and build better relationships, especially with our own selves. She supports clients to get to know and embrace themselves, to heal from what we have experienced or are experiencing in life. She believes it’s never about what is wrong with you, it’s far more about what did or did not happen to you. She has trained in play and family therapy and works creatively, to help you heal from anxiety, depression, and trauma related mental health.
