The mission statement is your organizations GPS. The mission statement says this is where we’re going. Without clear direction, I couldn’t lead my team into the future. Part of having clarity is knowing your mission. When the entire team knows their mission and everyone is moving in the same direction, great things happen. 
A mission statement will help narrow your focus and:

Establish your desired culture Help hire the right people Set appropriate goals for the business Help establish your purpose Help guide where you want your business to goCreate clarity for the entire team
