#047 The 47th episode of Kickass Every Day celebrates the one year anniversary of my podcast (yay!!!) and honors the start of Women’s History Month, by sharing with you some of what the Girl Scout organization has given me. I really wanted this anniversary episode to be special for lots of reasons and when I realized it coincided with the start of Women’s History Month I knew I had my direction.

The Girl Scout Organization is near and dear to my heart. It really has shaped my character more than any other influence in my life. It has done that for millions of girls since its inception in 1912. On their website it shares that its founder, Juliette Gordon Low envisioned an organization that would prepare girls to meet their world with courage, confidence, and character. Well mission accomplished.

So the goal of today’s episode it to share with you what the wonderful organization of Girl Scouts gave me as child that I still carry with me today.

We will talk about- How Girl Scouts is really where the personal development seed was planted for me, the promise and the law, the 5 most important things that Girl Scouts has given me, some famous former Girl Scouts, a few shout outs and thanks

My hope is that after you listen to this episode you too will see the value of Girl Scouts and what it provides for young girls. That you will support the organization every time you have a chance to by some Girl Scout Cookies knowing what that purchase helps girls to achieve. The Girl Scout motto is BE PREPARED something that even to this day I always make sure to do.

Continue with me on this journey and subscribe! Also, invite your friends to join the conversation as well so they can be a part of the fun. Let’s inspire and grow with each other.
