Kern Carter had it going on at the age of 18. A gifted basketball player, Kern was highly sought after by Universities and Colleges across North America to be part of 'their team'. But then his 17-yr-old girlfriend got pregnant, and that meant tough decisions had to be made... or, in Kern's case, were they tough? No, not for Kern.

Kern's love is powerful, and it reminds us of the importance of doing the right thing, no matter how tough it may seem at the time. Like each of us, now, as we continue to exercise physical distancing, even at the cost of not gathering with loved ones during the holiday seasons to help keep them, others, and us, safe. How are you fairing up?
