Each of us has an internal navigation pad, our emotions. Yet so many of us feel ashamed and guilty for how we feel, and this leads to us disconnecting from our emotions all together, and repressing them instead of becoming one with them and letting them to do their job - guide us towards what serves us and release us from what no longer does. We think that by giving attention to our emotions we give our emotions power over us, and we fear loosing control and feeling powerless as we act and say things that really do feel out of our control in the moment. However, if we were to connect to how we really felt, we would actually have full control over how we express and share our emotional experience with others. Releasing the shame and guilt we feel around feeling, and becoming one with our emotions, is the same as becoming one with who we truly are. Our emotions are always guiding us correctly along our life path. It's when we resist how we truly feel that we create turmoil and challenge in our life. Let's explore!
