We don't need others to understand us or even accept our actions as 'right' before we can pursue, act and create exactly what we feel called to. The fear, the guilt, the shame - isn't coming from others - it's coming from within ourselves. Just because someone else might see you in a different way (they might think you're selfish), doesn't mean that you have to see yourself that way too. It's when we match that same energy that we experience the discomfort of no longer being aligned with who we really are. When we judge others, and when we judge ourselves, we'll always feel this misalignment. And that's great - that's what our feelings are for. They bring to our attention where our thoughts and beliefs are no longer aligned with who we are, and with that awareness we now have the ability to create the change we seek, from the inside out. There's no need to wait for others to make the first move, because the game we're playing is one between who we really are and who we think we are.
