Last week you may have noticed I was a little down on myself.
I was due to leave in TWO DAYS to speak at the Physician Wellness and Financial Literacy Conference in Phoenix, Arizona when I came down wit COVID. Due to this, I was forced to cancel all travel plans, record my talk, and watch from home.
When this first occurred I was crushed. Let's be honest: I had been preparing for this event for months. It was the literal ONE THING I had planned for myself for the entire year. The rest of the year's time off is already devoted to family events. So when I lost that ONE THING, I struggled.
However, I was able to move past the disappointment and frustration and decided to focus more on the POSITIVES of being home with COVID. Many people may not look at this situation and think anything positive can come from it, but let me assure you it was easier to discover than I thought it may be.
