In this podcast episode, I am sharing information about the third component of emotional intelligence according to Daniel Goleman which is empathy. Being able to identify and understand other people's feelings. Why is it that people have a hard time showing empathy to others who are having an emotional moment? What should you say? Is it okay to not know what to say or do? Take a listen to learn more about this.

There's such a huge stigma about emotions. I want you to know emotions are not the enemy. The devil is our enemy, not our emotions. Emotions are like tools. You use them to fix what is bothering you. In order to fix it, you do have to face it, sit in it, reflect, process it, and talk about it. This is exactly how you guard your heart on a daily basis. Our emotions are what make us who we are: human. And who created us. God. "For everything created by God is good" 1 Timothy 4:4a
