Hey there, Happy Whole You fam! It's great to be back with a bonus episode, even after I thought the last recording for 2023 would be the finale. So, here's the deal – I recently got the chance to chat about New Year's resolutions on ABC 17 News at Sunrise, and it got me reflecting on the whole habit-building journey. You know, about 44% of folks dive into New Year's resolutions, and it's pretty much a 50/50 split between success and, well, not-so-much success. Habits, they say, take anywhere from 18 to 254 days to stick, and they make up a solid 40% of our daily actions. That's where my brainchild, the "Add In Method," comes into play. It's all about incorporating small habits every week throughout the year, accumulating to over 50 new habits annually. If you're curious about the 2024 Add In Method calendar, shoot us an email. I developed this method because, truth be told, I used to be terrible with those traditional New Year's resolutions – gone by February, every single time. The Add In Method, though, focuses on that slow, consistent build-up of small actions over time, yielding major results. In this episode, I break down five key factors that have been game-changers for me when it comes to creating and sticking to habits. So, if you're gearing up for a fantastic 2024, give this episode a listen and share it with someone who could use a boost in the habit-building department. Looking forward to sharing more insights in the upcoming year – let's make it an incredible one together!
