For those of you in the industry the IGC Show in the Chicago was the biggest event for garden center owners to learn about what's new. With the show's closure in 2020, there was still a need for an event specific for IGC owners and so the Garden Center Conference Conference and Expo was formed. On this episode Kate Spirgen, editor of Garden Center Magazine shares highlights from the event and its plans for the future, including partnering with GardenComm, to create a mega, must-attend-event in 2023. This will be the only show of it's kind that brings together garden center owners with the garden communicators, who are helping to drive demand for the products and services at the garden centers. There's a lot in store for this event and we cover a many of the details in this episode.
