I’ve been lucky enough to call this man my Grandpa AND my roommate. His positive attitude, consistency and level of self-love are truly magic and a joy to be around. As I dive deep into his life (I am making a documentary about him), I am recognizing the importance that routine has played in his life. He is 88 years old, single and completely content with his life. Doing a few things everyday that ground you, ignite your soul and keep you true to yourself seem to be one of the keys to happiness in life. Here are a few of the things my Grandpa does every day, without fail: 1. Goes to church first thing. 2. Drinks one glass of red wine with dinner (which usually happens around 3:30pm). 3. Goes for a walk. 4. Gets up at 6am and goes to bed at 8:30pm. 5. Reads one page of the Bible before bed. How do you show up for yourself everyday?
