Why is meditation so hard?
One reason may be that it is hard spending time alone with our own cluttered minds.  It is hard to avoid our own internal contradictions, long repressed fears and the incessant need for validation when you are doing nothing but sitting still and observing your breath.

Sondra teaches us to be kind to ourselves and be kind to our thoughts, that even when we struggle with our mind to not judge, instead to just observe that you are struggling and to move on.

Even if you can only sit in meditation for a few minutes it is still worth the effort.  Just a few minutes a day is enough to get started with mindfulness.
