A SPECIAL THANKS
I would like to extend my gratitude to Anglophone School District - North, in New Brunswick, Canada, for making this podcast possible. ASD-N is where I am employed as a School Mental Health Mentor. A significant part of my role at ASD-N  is training educators in the area of mental health. Our goal with this podcast is to provide another medium to continue the conversation around mental health for students, staff, parents and anyone else interested in going " Fishing for Mental Health".

PODCAST DESCRIPTION
Join me, John B. Fletcher, Counselling Therapist and avid fly fisherman, as we go fishing for mental health.

I will be interviewing prominent mental health figures across North America; for example, best-selling author and clinical psychologist, Dr. Jody Carrington; internationally renowned adolescent psychiatrist and Canadian Senator, Dr. Stan Kutcher; director of the Resilience Research Centre and Family Therapist expert, Dr. Michael Ungar, just to name a few. We will cover topics like resilience, mental health literacy, the power of human connection, trauma, post-traumatic growth, anxiety, depression, treatment, animal-assisted therapy, and much, much more!

I will also offer "Deeper Dive" episodes, where I go into more depth about a specific topic that came up during one of the interviews.

If you are interested in expanding your learning around mental health, then this is the podcast for you!
