Michelle Hurn is a registered dietitian from the Portland, Oregon area. She is a former high-carb elite runner, recently recovering her health by eating an animal-based diet high in fat and controlled in carbohydrates. Michelle is just finishing up her book, The Dietitian’s Dilemma, which shares her story of disordered eating, and how a low-carb diet can reverse or prevent conditions such as type 2 diabetes, mental illness, sarcopenia, heart disease and eating disorders.
Listen as Shana and Michelle discuss how and why Michelle transitioned to a meat-based diet, how she seamlessly integrated intermittent fasting into her lifestyle, and what lead her to write her evidence-based book.
